For account customers, payment terms are strictly as agreed. Late payments may incur interest and recovery costs in accordance with the Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998.

We reserve the right to suspend supply where payment terms are not met.
In the event of a pricing error, we are not obliged to supply goods at the incorrect price.

6. Delivery

Delivery dates and times are estimates only and are not guaranteed.

We reserve the right to amend delivery charges where incorrect weight, postcode or access information has been provided.

Risk in the goods passes to you upon delivery.
You are responsible for providing accurate delivery details and ensuring suitable access at the delivery location.

We shall not be liable for delays caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

7. Returns and Refunds

Returns must be notified within 14 days of delivery.

Goods must be unused, in original packaging, and in resaleable condition.

Certain products, including bespoke, special order or hygiene-sensitive items, may be non-returnable.

8. Sale of Chemical and Hazardous Products
Some products supplied by us may be classified as hazardous or controlled under UK regulations, including but not limited to COSHH and CLP requirements.
All chemical products are supplied in manufacturer-sealed packaging. Depot Catering & Cleaning Supplies does not alter, repackage, or modify any chemical products supplied.
It is the responsibility of the purchaser to:

• Ensure safe storage, handling and use of such products.
• Carry out appropriate COSHH assessments where required.
• Ensure staff are properly trained in safe use.
• Follow all manufacturer instructions and safety data sheets (SDS).
• Use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) where necessary.
• Comply with all applicable health and safety legislation.

Safety Data Sheets (SDS) are available upon request or supplied where required.
We shall not be liable for any loss, damage or injury arising from misuse, improper storage, failure to follow safety instructions, or failure to comply with relevant legislation.

9. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law:

• We shall not be liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses.
• Our total liability shall not exceed the value of the goods supplied.
• Nothing in these Terms excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any liability that cannot be excluded by law.
